Sportsbook Rules
1. Scope and interpretation
The following Betting Rules govern Linebet sports betting products and services (the Operator). They apply to all customers who hold an active Linebet betting account. In case of any discrepancy between these Betting Rules and any other terms published by Linebet, these Betting Rules prevail to the extent of the inconsistency.
2. Acceptance of bets
- Bets are accepted on the basis of the valid odds displayed on the Linebet website at the time of placing the bet. The wager is binding once confirmed by the customer and accepted by Linebet.
- Bets are accepted prior to the start of the event. Live bets are accepted on events that are currently in progress unless the market specifies otherwise.
- Bets placed after the official start of an event may be voided, except for Live bets that are offered in the Live section.
- By placing a bet, the customer confirms awareness of the event status and accepts the terms governing the wager. All bets placed before a line change remain valid under the terms that applied at the time of placement.
- Line changes, including alterations to odds, forfeits, totals, and maximum bet limits, may occur at any time. Bets placed before such changes will be settled under the original terms unless the change itself affects settlement as described in these Rules.
- The minimum and maximum bet amounts are determined by Linebet and may vary by event and bet type. Linebet reserves the right to modify these thresholds without prior notice.
- Any bet placed on an event where the outcome is already known at the time of betting is void and may be refunded.
- Prematch bets placed after an event begins, if accepted, shall be calculated with odds of 1.00 unless the market is specifically designated otherwise.
- Linebet makes reasonable efforts to ensure information about events is accurate. However, Linebet bears no liability for errors, and such errors are not grounds for canceling a bet except where explicit mispricing exists as determined by Linebet.
- The customer is solely responsible for the accuracy of their bets. Once a bet is accepted, it cannot be amended or canceled by the customer.
- Technical or communication failures on the customer side are not grounds for cancellation of a bet if the bet has been registered on Linebet's server.
- Disqualification or misconduct in a competition may result in all bets on the relevant event being settled at odds of 1.00. Recalculation rights remain with Linebet in accordance with official sources and within the applicable settlement period.
- Linebet reserves the right to refuse accepting bets from any customer or to close or suspend accounts in accordance with these Rules and without furnishing a reason in every case.
3. Postponements, cancellations and adjustments
- If an event does not start or finish according to the scheduled time, Linebet may void or settle bets in accordance with the status of markets that have been unconditionally determined.
- If an event is postponed beyond 48 hours, bets may be settled at odds of 1.00 unless the event is resumed and settled on its official result in a subsequent market.
- In cases of match format changes or venue changes, Linebet may void bets on affected markets at its discretion, except for markets already determined by official results.
- Linebet reserves the right to adjust settlements in response to official decisions, including corrections by governing bodies, within a defined period after the event and in accordance with available official materials.
4. Results, evidence and settlement
- Markets are settled on the basis of official results. If there is a discrepancy between results posted on Linebet and official governing body results, Linebet will rely on the official source or, where appropriate, video evidence to determine the final result.
- Linebet may settle markets prior to an official declaration only where the market description expressly allows it. Linebet reserves the right to reverse settlements if an error is detected and a final decision has been issued before the event’s conclusion.
- Linebet will not recognize amendments to results more than 72 hours after the event start time, except where required by official sources or video evidence as described above.
- For bets affected by using video review or VAR decisions, Linebet will adjust settlements in accordance with the final referee decision, provided that the decision affects the outcome of the bet and is communicated before the conclusion of the relevant market.
5. Live betting
- Live bets are offered in a dedicated Live section and are settled in real time based on Linebet’s statistical data and the ongoing course of play.
- Odds for live bets change continuously to reflect the match state. Bets may be voided, or settled according to the available data, if a participant is not competing or if the event is interrupted beyond a defined period.
- Claims on live bets, where applicable, must be submitted within a defined window after the event begins. Linebet reserves the right to decline or void bets in accordance with these Rules and the Live betting terms.
6. Interval markets and other market types
- Interval markets cover events within specific periods and use defined time boundaries for settlement. Examples and threshold handling follow standard industry practice and are described in individual market rules.
- Bets on other market types, including but not limited to overall totals, handicaps, and goal or score related markets, are settled in line with the official score at the conclusion of the relevant period or event, unless a market description specifies otherwise.
7. Bet types
- Single bets require a single selection to win for a return equal to the stake multiplied by the stated odds.
- Express (Multibet) combines two or more selections from different events. All selections must win for the Express to pay; a loss on any selection results in a loss of the entire Express.
- The System bet creates multiple Expresses from a set of selections. Winnings are the aggregated returns of the Expresses, and not all selections must win to achieve partial winnings. Details of the System configuration are available in the bet slip before confirmation.
- Live bets, interval markets and other market types follow the terms stated in their market descriptions on Linebet.
8. Minimum and maximum bets
- The minimum bet across all events and sports is 0.50 USD.
- Maximum bet per event is determined per event and bet type by Linebet and may be changed without prior notice. Linebet may impose limits or refuse bets on specific outcomes or combinations at its discretion.
9. Cashout
- Cashout allows early settlement of a bet before the event completes. It is available for selected Single and Combo bets as indicated in the bet slip. Availability may vary by match and market.
- To exercise Cashout, a registered user navigates to Coupon or My Bets, selects the relevant bet, and confirms the Cashout option. The option may be temporarily unavailable due to technical reasons but may be restored later.
- Cashout decisions are final unless Linebet determines otherwise due to a system error or a misstatement of the bet terms.
10. Outrights and play-or-pay
- Outright markets (short-term and long-term) are subject to a Play-or-Pay rule. Bets on participants stand as losses if the listed participant is unable to take part for any reason, and the markets settle accordingly. Head-to-head markets are excluded from this rule and may be void if a listed participant does not compete.
- If a participant is replaced by a participant of the same team, team markets remain valid while individual markets tied to the original participant may be void.
11. Compliance and risk management
- Linebet may refuse bets or suspend accounts without giving a reason in appropriate circumstances, including suspected irregular activity or violations of these Rules.
- Linebet may suspend or void markets and settlements where there is a material risk of fraud or manipulation, or where external authorities require action.
- The Operator reserves the right to suspend settlements or void bets in accordance with these Rules and with applicable regulatory requirements.
12. Miscellaneous
- These Betting Rules are written in English and govern the interpretation of all betting activities on Linebet. Any translation is provided for convenience and shall not govern in the event of a dispute.
- Linebet may amend these Rules at any time. Any such changes become effective immediately upon publication on the Linebet site and apply to bets placed after publication unless markets specify otherwise.
- Prices and markets are subject to change without prior notice. Linebet has the final say on all settlements and interpretations of these Rules.
